Students in year 10 have spent the morning trying to solve a
murder. They began by investigating a crime scene, lifting fingerprints,
swabbing for blood, analysing fibres and matching footprints to identify
possible suspects.
Then they looked at witness statements before working in
teams to put together prosecution and defence cases from the evidence they had
found.
Students loved the hands-on approach to investigation, and
were enthralled by gory stories of real-life crime scenes from our resident
former detective Mr Marston!
