After a long journey via Gatwick and Geneva we arrived in Les
Menuires, France late Saturday afternoon.
Once we had settled into our rooms we had our 'Ski fit' which
involves being fitted with the correct boots, skis, poles and helmet for
both our height/weight and ski experience.
We had a very successful first day of skiing with our intermediate
group, who skied here last year, impressing Jean-Francoise with their
smooth, controlled turns. The beginner group also made great progress to the
extent of being able to ski down to the hotel after their first day- not the
usual drill!
The 'high vis' waistcoats awarded to the best fall of the day were
given to Will Woodward from the beginners group and Brandon O'Neill
from the Intermediate group!
